My background
I have been blessed to be able to experience many aspects of life and there have been two main themes, ART and Agricutute with a little flying thrown in. My previous lives I have been a Wedding Photographer, Preschool Photographer, Department Store Manager and Flight Instructor at a University.
My experience
I attended my first Barn Quilt Painting class and was hooked. So, I decided to join some Facebook groups to learn more about the craft. When someone inquired about classes in the Pacific Northwest and Eastern Washington, I discovered that there was a need that I could help fill. I love the fact that we are creating a sense of community, culture and refreshing a vintage art. So, in a way we are reinventing a vintage craft. I hope to see Barn Quilts from my classes all over the Pacific Northwest.
My vision
For me it's more about community building, watching people come together and create in an encouraging and supportive environment.
